We could tell you all kinds of great things about living at Longhorn Village.
But we thought you’d appreciate hearing from some of the people who call it home.
We are NOT Texas Longhorns; worse yet, we are “adopted Aggies” with two children and five grandchildren having attended Texas A&M. So you can imagine our concern about moving to Longhorn Village. Our fears were ill-founded, as we received a “block welcome party” from our entire street during our second week here. We have met so many wonderful residents who have been very welcoming. Yes, even some die-hard “t-sippers” have been so friendly! The management team and employees are very special. We have never experienced so much professionalism from the CEO to the lowest paid staffer…. all go out of their way to learn our names and courteously serve us beyond our expectations. Our only regret is we did not move here sooner! The healthcare center is fantastic and there when we need those services without ever leaving the property. Come experience for yourselves!C. Taylor
“I am so lucky to retire to resort living at Longhorn Village with the wonderful, caring staff, the interesting residents, great food and any type of activities I could want. The Health Center provides great care in the same community. My kids and grandkids love to visit and want to know when they can move in.”Vince G.
“The community is beautiful, large and upscale. Housing units are spacious and very beautiful, with apartments or stand-alone villas. As far as dining goes, I thought the food was great. You don’t need transportation at Longhorn since they have a regularly scheduled bus that takes residents to shopping, events, downtown, and the UT Performing Arts Center. They have separate sections for assisted living, including one for memory care, and another section for skilled nursing. I highly recommend Longhorn Village if you’re looking for an upscale community with great care and amenities.”E.M.F.
"Surrounded by natural beauty, a caring staff, and the friendliest people on the planet, I have found stress-free living at Longhorn Village. There are plenty of first-rate amenities, activities, and entertainment. And even the food is great. Love it here!"Sharon B.
“Out of every place we’ve looked at thus far, Longhorn Village is the top. All the staff, from the management people to the maintenance people who we were introduced to, was nice. The residents were talking to us and telling us it is a great place. The rooms were large, light, and airy. The dining facilities were immaculate. They have their own pool, water aerobics, card game nights. They have trips to Austin. They do cruises once a year. You name, they have it. We talked to the activities director. She said if we can think of anything, if we can get a couple of people that want to do it, they’ll work it up.”C. S.
“Our life at Longhorn Village is absolutely wonderful. Everything is at our fingertips. There are a multitude of programs here all during the week. Transportation is available for medical appointments, grocery shopping, mall shopping, day trips, etc. This is so important for those who no longer have a vehicle and for those who are uncomfortable driving to different places. Healthcare is also available right here. When and if the time comes, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Memory Care are available to us. This is so very important, because if our loved one is temporarily or permanently in one of these areas we do not have to leave the building to visit.”Joan E.
