COVID-19 Information and Precautions: Friday, May 22, 2020

We continue to closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It remains our goal to stay vigilant and focused on creating the safest possible environment for our residents and employees at Longhorn Village. Although significant progress has been made against the COVID-19 fight in Texas, we remind all residents, family members and team members that it is important to “stay the course” and continue to follow all guidance from local, state and federal officials.

We are thinking of our frontline heroes and are thankful for their dedicated service and care to our residents. We recognize and appreciate the hard work of all our team members and what they are doing to save lives.

As of now, Travis County stay-at-home orders remain in effect, therefore we are still restricting all visitors to our campus until further notice. Exceptions to this precaution includes visits to hospice residents imminently close to end of life, and those who are gravely ill. These exceptions will be considered rare and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Continuing to restrict outside visitors will reduce infection control risks moving forward. Here are just a few of the many ways to stay in touch with your loved ones during this difficult time of social distancing:

The health and welfare of our residents continues to be our priority. We appreciate your support in keeping our residents and team members safe. Please feel free to reach out at any time with concerns or questions.
