Since opening our doors, we have been committed to creating the safest possible environment for our residents and employees. This has not changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. We remain vigilant while closely monitoring the fluid situation.
While Travis County stay-at-home orders remain in effect, we are still restricting visitors to our campus until further notice. Residents and team members are reminded to follow all guidance from local, state and federal officials.
Despite the situation, the community continues to witness a strong, resilient spirit among residents and team members. Here are just a few of the many ways residents are staying connected to one another while staying safe:
- Zooming together – Residents have been having dinner parties, trivia nights, book clubs, Bible studies and more.
- Making Music – We’ve hosted live music to entertain residents safely, and our very own resident DJ hosts Songs by the Swanz, playing favorites throughout the community.
- Staying Fit – Our fitness team puts the focus on wellness by creating fun, themed workouts, and taking them throughout the community so residents can keep fit while socially distancing.
The comments and gestures of support from families and the community are certainly helping as the community manages this challenge one day at a time. Overall, Longhorn Village remains in good spirits. We’re proud of the efforts and vigilance of everyone who has collectively kept residents and team members safe. This has truly been a team effort. We express appreciation and look forward to brighter days ahead.
Thank you for your continued support.
