Each year, the Austin American-Statesman and Austin360 poll the local community to select the best businesses and organizations in the city in the areas of health, entertainment, leisure, finance, beauty, education and more. For 2022, Longhorn Village was recognized as Best of the Best in the Retirement/55+ Community category for its independent living and Best of the Best in the Nursing Home category for its health center.
On a national scale, U.S. News named Longhorn Village among the elite 16% of skilled nursing facilities that earned a “High Performing” rating, the highest possible achievement. This resulted in our health care center being recognized as a 2022-2023 BEST Nursing Home.
